Vaccinations Galore
Vaccinations! we have all borne the brunt of those big, unfriendly yet highly essential needles, haven't we? Starting off from the second day till they are 5 years old, these needles tend to be the uninvited guests both parents and children hate. Fine, so we the parents are saved from the actual pain of the vaccine enmass the needle going into some undisclosed parts of the body, but the pain that the child feels can definitely be felt by the parents in more ways than one.
The child himself has several different ways of sharing his turmoil. Some go tomatoe red..... so red you can hardly believe it. Others prefer to be vocal with a few eardrums begging for mercy. And then there are some who choose to grieve in private, only whimpering and whining, with a extremely hurt look on their faces.
The most recent reaction I saw was when the child, after the needle poking incidence, was seen rubbing his wound on his very "pampered" bottom and telling everyone who would listen that a very unfair and imposing task had been done on his very cute ass.
This was my one and a half year old son. Tell me about your latest experience.
