Paris Hilton Launches Jewelry Designs
When we talk about the latest news and happenings in the big bad world of fashion, how can the name of Paris Hilton be far behind?
Not to be satisfied by her line of handbags which she designs for the brand Samantha Thavasa, she is now all set to launch her designer jewelry collection. According to her spokesperson, this new collection of jewelry will trend towards powerful rock, ideal for trend grunge, modern American girls.
True to trends and designs predicted to be popular in 2011, Paris has stuck to animal like themes encrusted in stones. Some of the styles predicted to be popular from her collection in 2011 are bangles in geometric patterns, bracelets studded with rhinestones and a ring -shaped like a snake.
Ralph Lauren Enters the Jewelry Circuit With a Massive Bang
It was in the news, it was the most talked about thing in the fashion circuits and now it has finally made front page news. Ralph Lauren’s four-story women’s flagship store is finally open. But that’s not all. The real jewel in Ralph Lauren’s crown is the 600-square-foot watch and fine jewelry salon on the ground floor.
This salon is all set to house six fine jewelry collections exclusive to the store. What’s more, Ralph Lauren is all set to expand distribution to other selected markets in 2011. Some of the exclusive jewelry which deserves to be mentioned includes the Equestrian stirrup pendants, the Signature Diamonds and Classic tennis bracelet and necklace. And last but not least, the jaw-dropping Monogram necklace with akoya pearls and rose gold with diamond monogram. Oh wow! We can just see the long line of women outside vying to buy each of these beautiful and exclusive pieces.
Candace Ang & Margarita Saplala’s Latest Splash
Animals, animals everywhere! Drawing inspiration from the newest trend in designer jewelry Candace Ang has come up with a quirky, dinosaur-centric jewelry collection. It seems she is paying homage to the big purple dinosaur so popular amongst the kids. Now it’s time for the mommies to sport their kid’s favorite character.
Not to be left behind Saplala’s fur and reptile skin-based prints for fall are adding just the right touch of edgy glamour and are the perfect complement to Ang’s dino jewels.
Look out for the Wilma Flintstone Specimen One collar, made from white coral beads, metal spikes, and a green stegosaurus, which by the way is wearing his own tiny necklace. So trendy, so in, and so must-have!
Alexis Bittar’s Lovely Touch
Hand made, hand crafted and hand painted with love. That’s the best way to describe Alexis Bittar’s colorful bracelets for fall. Designed and crafted in Brooklyn, these pieces carry a distinct stamp. Very New York –ish, they remind you of the vintage shops and boutiques lining up the smaller streets of New York.
Made from popular material like wood, metal and Lucite, the bracelets will be the signature accessory for every 20 something woman in USA. Items topping the list are a small hinge bracelet made of Lucite in ruby dust, a skinny tapered bangle in purple, and a hinge bracelet in gunmetal.
